Designing a garden isn’t just about choosing plants or paving. It’s about listening carefully, understanding your lifestyle, and creating a space that works beautifully for you.

I care about the process as much as the result.

I want to make sure you feel heard, supported, and confident every step of the way. Whether you’re dreaming of a lush escape, a family-friendly yard, or a timeless garden that feels easy to care for, I bring together beauty, function, and sustainability.

Because your garden should be more than a project, it should be a place where you feel at home.

1. GARDEN CONSULTANCY

Starter – Best for homeowners wanting a quick boost without a full design.

Just want some advice about layout, materials, or creative advice about a particular area?

This consultation is for you!

I can do this on the spot for a small garden or courtyard. I can give you advice on how to improve the soil, add features to enhance areas and a list of suitable plants for the space we discuss.

2. PLANT CONSULTATION

Most Popular at the moment – This service is perfect for clients looking to refresh, extend, or completely restyle a garden bed.

Often chosen after home renovations or when transitioning to a new aesthetic, this option helps you create a garden that complements your home’s updated style and personality.

During our on-site consultation, we’ll discuss your goals for the space; from preferred styles and colour palettes to any features you’d like to include or work around.

We’ll explore garden bed layouts and planting ideas that bring structure and flow to the area. I may also suggest pots, lighting, accessories, or garden decor to elevate the design.

After our meeting, you’ll receive a detailed concept design of the garden beds, including scaled planting plans with measurements and a curated plant list tailored to your site and preferences.

  • This includes:

    • On-site advice and tips to improve your outdoor space,

    • 60-min on-site session,

    • Plants & materials suggestions (if needed),

    • Practical solutions tailored to your space.

You are welcome to take notes during this consultation.

This does not include planting plan drawings but plants will be listed in a report that will be emailed to you afterwards.

Fee: $220 for the first hour, $200 per hour after this.

  • Ideal for clients who aren’t familiar with plants and would like expert guidance in choosing and arranging them.

    This includes:

    • 60-minute on-site meeting,

    • plant catalogue with images for visual reference,

    • complete plant list with sourcing details and

    • planting plan with scale and measurements.

    Fee: $500.

3. FULL GARDEN DESIGN

A comprehensive, tailor-made garden design, ideal for new builds or complete garden makeovers.

This service unfolds in three stages: an initial on-site consultation, a collaborative phase, and a final presentation featuring 3D visuals and scaled drawings ready for construction.

Every design is thoughtfully crafted to reflect your lifestyle, aesthetic, and the unique character of your space.

We begin with an initial consultation on site, where we walk through the space and explore site conditions, budget, and desired style. Following this meeting, design fees are quoted based on the project’s size and level of detail required.

You’ll receive a detailed proposal that brings together functionality, beauty, and sustainability.

STAGE 1 - Initial Consultation & Site Visit

Your journey begins with an in-depth, hour consultation, the most essential step in creating your garden design.

During this meeting, I take the time to truly understand you: how you live, entertain, and relax outdoors; your short- and long-term aspirations for the space; and the feeling you wish your garden to evoke.

Together, we explore your goals, aesthetic preferences, and practical considerations while I assess the site’s layout, existing features, and environmental conditions. This collaborative discovery sets the foundation for a design that reflects both your lifestyle and the character of your home.

Following our visit, you’ll receive a comprehensive Design Brief outlining your project vision along with an estimated design fee, thoughtfully prepared based on the project scope, size, and level of detail required.

Full Design Process

STAGE 2 - Concept Design & Preliminary Proposal

With a clear understanding of your vision, I begin the creative development of your garden design concept. Using the site plans and details gathered during our consultation, I conduct a thorough analysis of the space, considering soil composition, sun exposure, architectural context, and surrounding landscape.

From here, I craft the concept design: a preliminary layout that captures the essence of your ideal garden. This stage brings together spatial flow, planting schemes, and a cohesive palette of colours, materials, and textures that align with your style and the home’s aesthetic.

You’ll receive a preliminary design proposal by email for review. This is an opportunity to refine ideas together, ensuring every element feels right before we move into the final stage. Your feedback guides the evolution of the design, making sure it’s both beautiful and deeply personal.

STAGE 3 - Final Proposal Presentation

Once your concept design has been refined and approved, I prepare the final proposal, a comprehensive, ready to implement design package.

We’ll meet again to review your completed design in detail, including 3D visualisations, scaled 2D drawings, and a curated planting plan. Each element is explained and contextualised to ensure absolute clarity and confidence moving forward.

You’ll receive a beautifully presented design folder, containing all plans, visuals, and notes to guide your contractors and bring your vision seamlessly to life.

This presentation marks the completion of the design phase, and the beginning of your garden’s transformation into a timeless, functional, and elegant outdoor space.
