-
This service unfolds in three stages:
Inicial design process
Design development
Final design development
We begin with an initial consultation on site, where we discuss your goals and assess the space. Following this meeting, I will prepare the design brief and design fee proposal for your consideration.
Starting at $2000.
Designing a garden isn’t just about choosing plants or materials. It’s about listening carefully, understanding your lifestyle, and creating a space that works beautifully for you.
I care about the process as much as the result.
I want to make sure you feel heard, supported, and confident every step of the way. Whether you’re dreaming of a lush escape, a family-friendly yard, or a timeless garden that feels easy to care for, I bring together beauty, function, and sustainability.
Because your garden should be more than a project, it should be a place where you feel at home.
STAGE 1 - INITIAL DESIGN PROCESS
ON SITE MEETING
Your journey begins with an in-depth, hour consultation, the most essential step in creating your garden design.
During this meeting, we take the time to truly understand you: how you live; your short/long-term aspirations for the space; and the feeling you wish your garden to evoke.
SITE ANALYSIS
Together, we explore aesthetic preferences, practical considerations while assessing the site’s conditions and existing features. This collaborative discovery phase sets the foundation for a design that reflects both your lifestyle and the character of your home.
DESIGN BRIEF & FEE PROPOSAL
Following our visit, you’ll receive a comprehensive Design Brief outlining your project vision along with an estimated design fee, thoughtfully prepared based on the project scope, size, and level of detail required.

STAGE 2 - DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
GENERAL LAYOUTS AND CONCEPT DESIGN PROPOSAL
With a clear understanding of your vision, I begin the creative development of your garden design concept. Using the site plans/survey provided and details gathered during our consultation, I conduct a thorough analysis of the space, considering soil composition, sun exposure, architectural context, and surrounding landscape.
From here, I craft the concept design: a preliminary layout that captures the essence of your ideal garden. This stage brings together spatial flow, planting selections, and a cohesive palette of colours, materials, and textures that align with your style and the home’s aesthetic.
You’ll receive a preliminary design proposal for review. This is an opportunity to refine ideas together, ensuring every element feels right before we move into the final stage. Your feedback guides the evolution of the design, making sure it’s both beautiful and deeply personal.
STAGE 3 - FINAL DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Once your concept design has been approved, I prepare the final proposal: final design concept, plant list with a planting plan, and final materials schedule.
We’ll meet again to review your completed design in detail, each element is explained and contextualised to ensure absolute clarity and confidence moving forward.
You’ll receive a beautifully presented design folder, containing all plans, visuals, and notes to guide your contractors and bring your vision seamlessly to life.
This presentation marks the completion of the design phase, and the beginning of the next step: bring the vision to life.

A well-planned design ensures that your garden not only looks good but also works effectively. It helps anticipate problems, highlight key features, and disguise elements you’d prefer to soften or hide.
It also serves as a clear guide for both you and the contractor, helping you make confident, cohesive decisions from the beginning. -
